About us

Our brand identity!

Cilento , is a 100% leather leather goods brand made in Uruguay . It was created in March 2019, but our first leather line was launched in July 2020. It was born from the idea of creating fun , trendy products that do not go unnoticed.
In our designs, the textures and details that give added value stand out, from the selection of materials to the creation of the packaging.

We seek to reach people who want a different product, who value quality and original designs .
In our color palette, black, white and beige will always be present, but depending on the seasons, some trend colors of the moment will predominate.

Why Cilento?

The name came up in a project for the faculty. We were working on creating a brand, and I chose summer as the main theme. In a moment of inspiration and brainstorming , I chose many images from Cilento, Italy and fell in love with the place. From there, I decided that this was going to be the name of my future brand.

I still haven't had the luck to go, but without a doubt this destination is in my wishlist.

Why a hummingbird as a logo?

This was a much more personal choice. They say that when a hummingbird perches in your garden, it is because a loved one who is no longer in this world comes to visit. And I had this beautiful experience with my mother, some time after my father left, after a long illness, seven years ago.

From that moment, the hummingbird became my favorite bird, and I decided to incorporate it into my brand as a tribute to him.

**We tell you a little about our packaging !**

Bags:

For the bags, we chose to make them from a material that is reusable , such as tnt, to give more utility and life to what we do. All our products are long-lasting , and we thought it was a good idea to transfer that concept to our packaging.

Covers:

All our products are stored in a canvas cover, for your protection . Leather is a noble material that, if cared for properly, can last a lifetime , which is why keeping them in their fabric covers while they are not in use is the best option to prevent them from getting damaged. The fabric is the best ally for leather; In addition to protecting it, it favors its ventilation.
